To narrow down your search results, you can use Filters. They can be accessed via the respective tab of your ProSearch navigation menu, or directly through the report column headers as you review your online report:
Selections filter allows viewing Selected or Not Selected results in ProSearch.
Just select this option in the Filters tab, or click the little “Arrow” icon on the Select column header and you will see the menu that allows displaying either selected or not selected marks:
Trademark name filter allows refining search results by trademark spelling, using one of the following operators:
-identical
-equals
-contains
-begins with
-ends with
Classes filter lets you restrict search results by classes. Please note that you can select multiple classes and use "any selected class" or "all selected classes" mode:
Database filter lets you narrow down the report by databases:
Owner filter has two versions. he one that is at the ProSearch top navigation, displays top 20 Owners and summarizes how many results per each one your search report has. You can select the necessary Owners and see relevant results for them:
Another filter option for Owners is available from the column header. This one allows restricting results by typing in the Owner name and using one of the available modes:
Status Filter allows displaying results that have the following statuses:
-Filed
-Registered
-Dead
-Ended:
Dates filter allows narrowing down search results based on how long ago it has been since the Application or Registration date:
Please note that while reviewing reports, you can apply multiple filters at once:
To remove the filter, you can click the red cross beside it. To remove all filters at once, you can use the respective link.
