Creating a custom report


To create a custom report, please select the results that you would like to include. 

The Select column corresponds to the basic trademark list view, and if you would also like to include full records, use the Add Full record column:

To expedite the process, use Select/Deselect all options, select marks of a specific risk level or select results where color marking was applied:

Moreover, you can add color tags to your results (these can be later reflected in your custom report or just used internally during a review):


Based on these color tags, there is an option to rearrange the order of the results

For that, please move your mouse over the color tags tab and you will see a drop-down menu where it is possible to set up the sequence of results based on their colors.

Simply type in the numbers into the respective cells and click the “Apply order” link:


Also, you can add comments to your watch results by typing them into the cell.



Exporting the results

When all necessary results are selected, you can create a custom report. For this, please click on the “Customize & Download Report” button:

At the Level of details section, you have a set of checkboxes to configure what type of information you would like your report to include:


There you can specify whether the report should have a full goods and services description or just list the classes, whether you want to see your color tags and custom flags, whether and to what extent comments should be included, and do other modifications. You can include or exclude certain pages, and you can translate goods and services there.


Your selected configuration is automatically saved and when creating your next report, the system will suggest the same layout.


Moreover, at the top right corner, you see the checkbox that says “Use settings for default report”. If you choose to have the default version of the report attached to your weekly watch summariesthey will have the same configuration. 


In the Branding section, it is possible to choose between Non-branded reports, Markify-branded reports, and Custom branding. 

For custom branding, you can upload your logo and fill out the contact information. There also are sections for company description and disclaimer:

With the custom page option, you can use basic formatting tools to write your opinion or extended comments and include them in your custom report:

At the Document section, please select the page orientation and file format, change the file name if necessary, and click on “Create” to generate your report:

If you have several clients, we suggest using one of the Multiple-file formats that automatically splits the results by client or by watched mark (please make sure that you have Client/Label info filled out for splitting per client):
