Markify has now released a new Industrial Designs module in ProSearch, which allows unlimited searching of designs with flexible parameters.


In order to run a design search, please follow the next steps:


1. Select Industrial designs databases to be searched. 


For that, you can either start typing the source name in the respective string, and select one of the options there:


Or you can open the pop-up menu, select the Designs module on the top navigation bar to the right, tick the necessary databases there, and click on Apply button



Moreover, you can create a Custom Pack,, with your selections for your repeated use. For that, tick the required sources, enter a name and click the "Save Custom Pack" button. This custom pack will be then available at Custom Packs menu:



2. Upload an image file with your industrial design:

You can also use the cropping option to search for part of the design.


3. Select Locarno classes (optional): choose among three types of classifications: WIPO, Canada, or Japan national. To see more details on any of these, click the link to access the official source.

Tick the necessary classes and click “Add”. You can use the “Remove” or “Remove all” buttons to erase the unnecessary selections.

Please note that you can also use the search string at the top of this menu, to identify correct classes based on the entered keyword. Type in the relevant term and click the “Search” button to see if it’s represented in any available classification

Finally, choose the mode: “Match ANY class” or “Match ALL classes” and click “Update”

  1. Description/Title (optional): Please enter a keyword to search for.

  2.  Designer (optional): enter the designer name into this string to look up all the designs by them:
    Additionally, you can use the pop-up menu with boolean operators for combining several sources:

  3. Reference (optional) : enter your client name, reference number, or anything you want to show in the searches list:

Moreover, you can combine your search parameters with other strings such as Status, Dates, or Number, to achieve necessary results.
