Your online Industrial Design Watch reports are available in your account. Go to Dashboard > click Reports.
At the top of your screen, there is a dropdown menu labeled "Report Date" that allows you to navigate through your Watch reports. Each report is unique, as a design is only reported once (when a new live design that matches your watch parameters enters our database).
To track work progress and collaborate with your team, you can manually apply color tags in this dropdown menu to highlight specific reports. For example, you might mark a report in green when it is fully cleared or has no major findings.
To color tag the necessary weekly report, use the Report date dropdown menu and apply a color to it. When you reload the page and unfold the menu again, it will display the color that was previously applied.
Please note that the color tagging feature is only available when you are in "My Watched Reports" mode or "Team Members Watch Reports" mode. In the latter case, any color tags you apply to your colleague's report will also be visible to them.
For more information on the collaboration tools, please refer to the related article on this topic (describes TM watch tool that works in a similar way).
The Periodicity option lets you choose how you want to view your reports: weekly, monthly, or custom. It's important to note that this setting only affects the number of reports combined for your review; it does not change the actual timeframe for report generation, which continues to operate on a weekly basis.
The monthly reports will consolidate 4 to 5 of your weekly reports, covering a full month. This may also include a few additional days at the beginning or end of the month, as the basis for this consolidation is weekly data.
To configure a custom number of weekly reports to merge, you have two options:
- Merge the reports starting from the first (oldest) one – the default option
- Merge the reports, beginning from the most recent, to combine and export the results for the last several weeks
The Status option serves as a filter that allows you to choose which category of results you want to review: published/registered marks, new filings, or both. This setting only impacts the display of your reports, not the actual content.
If the deadline for opposition is less than 14 days, this will be indicated in this section. Additionally, a red exclamation mark (!) will appear in the Deadline for Opposition column for those marks.
For clients who prefer not to review new filing results but still want to ensure that territories without opposition proceedings are covered, we have introduced a third option. This new feature allows users to display new filings specifically for those territories.
The Similarity Level is a switch between results Risk levels (from identical RL1 to low similarity RL4). It also only works as a filter and does not affect your actual report content.
Your watch results are displayed in a form of spreadsheet where to the left you can see your watched designs, and to the right you can see results:
You can adjust the layout by clicking the Custom column link:
