Goods and services search via keywords allows refining your search scope very precisely as you configure exactly what will be included. Depending on used option, only trademarks including (or excluding) set keywords will be produced.


When applying just one keyword, you can simply type it into the respective string. Or if you would like to combine multiple keywords into one search, we recommend using the popup window that displays additional parameters:

Here we use a similar approach as with Custom strategy search, where you enter keywords into specific strings and the system adds operators/modifiers automatically.

You can choose to retrieve the results set where the trademark contains all of the listed keywords, any of the keywords, the exact phrase, or exclude results with certain keywords.

Moreover, there is a wildcard string that allows substitutions with any number of characters.

When you enter the keywords in the necessary combination, please click the “Update” button:

Matching results will have requested keywords highlighted with grey color: 

If you would like to have the same grey colour highlight in your custom reports, please make sure to tick the respective checkbox at the Level of Details section:
