By default, all watch subscriptions are configured with a one-year term beginning on the activation date.
However, for cases such as portfolio transfers, it is possible to predefine a custom start date.
To maintain a streamlined user interface, this functionality is not visible by default but can be enabled upon request by contacting support@markify.com.
In that case, your watch settings will allow 2 options:
1. To start a 1-year subscription immediately as you place an order
In this case, you need to click on "Subscribe now" button and add your watch to the cart:
Then go to the checkout and complete the payment with one of the available methods:
2. To schedule a future subscription using the calendar option as shown below:
For that, click on the “Set start date” and select the necessary date on the calendar.
(If it needs to be edited, you can still do it at this point by clicking on the green “Future start date” link).
After that, you will see the button "Subscribe from [start date....] " which indicates that you can submit the order now, and have the watch begin on the respective date:
A click on the button adds watches to the cart. Then you can proceed to the checkout and process the order.
If you use the invoicing method, please insert your master code into the promotion box and click on “Activate”.
After that, you will see a pop-up with two options:
- Choosing “Invoice after the subscription start date”, you will receive invoices after the subscription activates
- If you select “Invoice all orders in this cart together with today’s date”, watches will be included in your next invoice.
Below you can see an example of how the processed watch with a future start date looks like:
This means that your setup has been completed and on a respective day watching service will start. You are going to receive an email notification when that happens.
Please note that if you have the Future start date feature enabled, your Bulk import Excel file can also contain an additional column "Future start date" in YYMMDD format (no /-. characters between the numbers):
Watches that are uploaded like this will automatically have all of the startdates listed, and you will only need to activate them with your preferred method.
