This article describes a step-by-step process of configuring your Bulk search parameters and producing the online search report.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
To order Bulk search report, please go to Bulk search -> Create menu of your dashboard

There you can fill out search parameters
Searched names
The tool is capable of processing up to 500 names at once, and you can either type them directly into the menu:

Or you can bulk import them as a file (txt, csv, xlsx, xls formats are supported):

Databases
Database string allows specifying in the sources names directly (you see suggestions in the dropdown menu when you start typing):

Or you can open the pop-up by clicking the green icon to the right where you will see all the available options:

For your bulk searches, you can choose between 190 trademark databases (+50 US states), Pharma sources, and Domains.
TM sources can be configured through Packages where you can find some of the ready combinations, or through Trademarks, where each source is listed separately:

Pharma sources include Pharma-in-Use data, as well as Other Pharma as we call it, where you have a list of International or local-specific pharmaceutical sources:

Domains section allows selecting up to 10 TLDs that will be checked for availability:

You can of course combine various sources within one search: trademark, pharma, domain, and presave them into your own custom package using the bottom left menu:

Presaved packages can be used from Custom packs tab:

Search modes
For Search modes, you can choose between the two options:

1 - Identical plus
Identical plus search mode retrieves strictly identical matches, including English plurals (regular and irregular) and exact spellings within word combinations (e.g. when searching POWER UP, you can get POWERUP, POWER UPS, POWER UP PLUS), It excludes compounds (e.g. POWERUPBAND) and split terms (e.g. POW ERUPTION)
Please feel free to explore a more detailed article on Identical plus search at the link here
2 - Knockout
Knockout search mode acts like a fuzzy search where the similarity between words is determined by analysing edits to the strings. The extent of these edits depends on the statistical factors which count in the word’s length, position of an edit, and frequency of the term use (dictionary vs unique term). Therefore this search mode will also cover slight spelling variations (e.g. whe searching APPLE, you will get APPLES, APLLE, APPEL, etc).
Please note that Knockout mode still produces a more narrow result set compared to ProSearch Risk Level 2. So when using Bulk search tool for Knockout search purposes, you might want to further investigate your 'top choice' names via our other search tools that provide wider similarity options (ProSearch or Comprehensive search).
Classes
You can type the classes directly into the string, comma-separated:

Or you can open the pop-up menu that allows ticking the necessary classes.
Moreover, if you type the keyword into the search string on this menu, you will see suggestions on the class to use:

Reference
Reference is an optional field that you can use for specifying the project name, customer reference, order number, or any other adminitstrative-related information on your search

Report name
You can manually enter the preferred report name
Or we will automatically use the Reference as part of the report name, together with the search date
Or we will use the first and last out of your searched names, to make it clear what it is that you are searching for, again combined with the search date

Please note that you cannot edit the report name once the search is launched, so indeed using the good report name, and/or reference will allow you distinguish between the projects.
Launching the search
When all the parameters are listed, please click the search button to launch the search

You will automatically be transferred to the Bulk search -> Reports page
There you can see the progress bar moving as we are fetching search results. Once ready, you'll be able to open the report.
