ProSearch search form: criteria required for similarity searching
Upon opening ProSearch tool, you land on the "Search options" tab that lists all of the parameters that can be used. For this basic similarity search, we will only need some of them - the rest can remain blank.
Good to know: It's the implicit operator AND that is applied between the parameters, so combining several criteria, such as for example classes and goods and services, is restricting the search scope more.

With this search form, you can usually type in the criteria, or click on the green icon to the right of the string and use the contextual menu that helps to configure the parameter
For example, the database pop-up contains the full navigation within Trademark, Common Law, and other sources, supported by the tool (the actual configuration depends on your subscription configuration):

For Trademark Name, please just type in the term as it is, without wildcards or other variations. Our Advanced similarity search will apply various algo techniques towards your TM name to provide the results that are similar orthographically and phonetically:

For the AI similarity search, please tick Advanced similarity within the Mode options. Note that you can also click the "Change" link and adjust how many Risk Levels (RL) should be covered by the search:

(You can read more about advanced similarity mode HERE)
By default, the search will only cover live marks. You can adjust the setting via the Status parameter to also include dead marks:

For defining Classes, please enter comma-separated number values into the Class string (or use the pop up menu to the right):

For Goods & Services, we rather recommend to use the pop-up menu to the right, if you need to enter several keywords (please note that the tool produces results for identical G&S only, so you might prefer to enter the list of synonyms)

Once the search configuration is completed, please click the Search button at the bottom of the menu:

Reviewing the results: report structure overview, filters & tags to apply, results selection
Your results list looks like a spreadhseet where you can adjust the columns that are displayed (check our Custom columns user instruction here), or sort the results clicking on column headers.

Moreover, there are numerous filtering options built into the column headers - the same is also accessible via the top Filter navigation (check our more detailed article on Filters here)

Please tick the results that you would like to export: Select option will include basic trademark details (similar to what you see online), and Select full record option will include Full record details:

Moreover, you can apply color tags or add comments to the results:

Once ready with the results review, you can create a custom report.
Exporting search results into reports
In order to create a report, please move to the respective tab within your ProSearch navigation
The screenshot below shows the folded view where you only need to click the green Create report button:

However, if you would like to adjust the report content, or add your own branding, or change the file format, you can unfold the respective configurationn sections by clicking on Show links.
Level of detail allows adjusting the report configuration and content:

Branding is where you can upload your contact details, logo, and create an additional intro page

Document section allows selecting the format of the file:

Please note that the system remembers the changes you apply - once adjustments are made, you can fold the unused menus again.
